Don’t Argue with The Truth

This year Williams Wellness will be focusing on the Mind, Body and Spirit collectively as one.  My father would always tell me “Don’t argue with a fool.”  And when I would question this he would just say ” It’s a fact.  It’s true for you.  Don’t argue or question it,  just know it.”

God made… and the rest is so.  God does not need us in order to exist;  but any and all surely need God in order to be.  Things you like or gravitate toward and other things you dislike or stay away from are all part of who  you are, your character and fitness, your vocation and recreations.  You want a sound mind, your body solid and your spirit on constant watch so that your decisions are based on the actual truth and not  personal feelings.

How I feel has nothing to do with the truth.  Just because I do not like something does not make it untrue. There are truths I do not agree with,  but they are true just the same.  I write this to say that God shows us the  truth each and everyday.  When we have questions, angers, pains and wants we are being shown a truth.  We are told through actions and feelings a truth we need to pay early attention to.  Shortness of breath, chest pains, cravings,  lustful urges, habitual desires, …the  list goes on, tells  a truth to the sound mind..  And the fact of wanting better, is  a wake-up call that old things have passed away, and better days are ahead not behind. We evolve and grow as individuals and as such, we tire of some things and get energized about others.  This is true.

Truth stands alone and shines like a light in darkness.  You cannot go around it.  It may take longer  for a student to learn it, or for the courts to see it or the history books to print it,  but  Truth  stands as    IS.   The world has something for you everyday,  all you have to do is look for it. Be your true you, without influence and look forward to what you have for tomorrow

Now breath, smile and hold your head up high,  your new year begins.
