This Holiday Do Not Focus on Other “Pieces,” You Have Your Own “Whole” Cake

As this Holiday Season brings another year to an end it is important  to remember this exercise:  use of the word “NO”.     Your journey is lifelong, so practice positive exercises that are good for you.   You do not have to eat a piece or taste a bite when you are on a diet and a healthy journey.   Your own health and your personal happiness should be more important than your desire to satisfy people who make you uncomfortable.  Do not abuse yourself to make others feel comfortable.   Avoid situations where there are foods, drinks, activities or environments you do not want.  This is your life  and  in any aspect of your life remove what you do not want.  And in social settings when you are pressured by some to partake in festivities you do not like, simply tell them “No.”

You do not need others to give you permission to eat healthy.  Eat healthy!   You do not need others to understand  your journey,.  Continue to be a better you each and every day!  Whenever someone sets out to do what is best for themselves, there are few, if any,  who encourage their decision.  You do not need the support of anyone who encourages you to get off course.  They will cause you harm.    What you do need is positive focus and the courage to say “NO”.

This Holiday Season dare to be your  healthy “Whole” you and not a pressured “Piece” of others.   Choose healthy, eat right and walk the good walk  towards 2018.
