All too often we use age as the excuse to do wrong. We often use age, young or old, as an unhealthy crutch to do what we want instead of doing what is right. Here are two examples: Example 1 uses age as permission to do what should not be done : “I’m young, I don’t have to… . I can try anything and everything now; nothing will happen to me. I have time. I’ll be fine” Example two uses age as an excuse not to do what should be done: ” I’m too old to change. I’m grown. I do what I want. I’m old enough, I’ve earned the right to do as I please.”
Again we use age as an excuse to not do what should be done and as permission to do what we should not.
My father would always say ” When faced with having to decide between doing what’s right and doing what’s wrong, especially when you don’t feel like it, choose right.”
Remember to eat right, choosing healthy fruits and vegetable.
